Tesla OE cross-reference

One Tesla part often carries several different OE numbers. This dataset lists, for 282 Model 3 and Model Y collision-part groupings, every distinct full OE number observed against each base number — together with the exact rules used to count them, so the figures can be recomputed rather than taken on trust.

Why the gap exists

A VIN lookup answers which part a car takes today. It is not built to answer which numbers have ever referred to that part — the question an estimator, recycler or parts buyer is usually holding. 38% of the base numbers here carry more than one distinct full OE number, and nothing public maps between them.

This dataset does not establish that each such set forms a linear supersession chain, that the variants physically interchange, or how Tesla's VIN-driven catalogue resolves any specific case. It publishes the observation, not an interchange claim.
