Fitment notes
Fits Tesla Model 3 (Jun 2017 – 2020).
Important: CHECK THE NUMBER ON YOUR OWN FRUNK BEFORE ORDERING. This tub is Tesla OE 1509565-00-A, for the earlier Model 3 built before the heat-pump change in late 2020. It does not fit the 2021-2023 heat-pump Model 3, which takes a different, shallower tub (Tesla OE 1645350-00-A) shaped to clear the heat-pump hardware. The two are not interchangeable in either direction, and we do not carry the 2021-2023 tub. If the number on your car reads 1645350-00-A or 1526738, this is not the part you want.
Reading 1509565-00-A
| Base number | 1509565 | Identifies the part and its position on the car — the block that survives every revision, and the one to search when a full number returns nothing. |
|---|---|---|
| Middle code | 00 | Distinguishes variants of the base part. We report the code without assigning it a meaning. |
| Revision | A | Engineering revision, issued alphabetically. Where the base number and the middle code both match, a later letter is commonly a newer version of the same part — a search heuristic, not a guarantee. |

Other numbers with base 1509565
1509565-00-A is the only number with base 1509565 that MapleV cross-references.
Sharing a base number does not mean two parts interchange. The base identifies a family, not a fit: the Model 3 front fascia with parking-sensor holes and the one without are different parts. Always confirm the full number, the side and the year range on the part page before ordering.
