Important: GLOBAL-TYPE HEADLAMP — MUST MATCH THE OTHER SIDE. Tesla's service manual requires both headlamps on a Model 3 to be the same type (Global or SAE), and the vehicle's software configuration must match the type installed. If the undamaged headlamp on your car is the SAE type, it must be replaced as well — a mixed pair will not operate correctly. After an SAE-to-Global change, a Toolbox 3 configuration update is also required (vehicle software 2024.20 or later). Check the type of the existing headlamp before ordering a single side.
